Privacy & Safety
Our privacy commitments: no tracking, zero third-party ads, and student data protection.
Academic resources should be safe, transparent, and completely free from user tracking. We take student privacy seriously and have designed MPC Questions with a privacy-first standard.
Our Core Privacy Standards
- Zero Student Tracking: We do not require accounts, passwords, or personal phone numbers to view, search, or download papers. You browse completely anonymously.
- No Third-Party Ad Networks: We do not run commercial advertising trackers, pixel beacons, or sell browsing habits to data brokers.
- No Intrusive Analytics: We only monitor high-level aggregate usage metrics (such as daily visitor and download totals) to ensure CDN bandwidth and servers remain healthy.
- Redaction of Student Roll Numbers: We instruct contributors not to upload papers with student roll numbers. If any personal information is identified on an existing paper, our team promptly redacts or replaces it.
Platform Security & Reliability
We employ industry-standard security practices to keep the archive dependable and resilient for all students:
- End-to-End HTTPS / TLS 1.3: All network traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols.
- Cloudflare CDN & Edge Caching: Question paper scans are cached across Cloudflare edge locations, guaranteeing fast load times and shielding against denial-of-service disruptions.
- Bot & Spam Protection: Cloudflare Turnstile protects public uploads, paper reports, and contact submissions against automated bots without disruptive visual CAPTCHAs.
- Fine-Grained Database Row-Level Security (RLS): Public requests are strictly isolated and governed by database security policies, ensuring only approved, published examination papers can be read.
- Adaptive Rate Limiting: Submission endpoints are protected by rate limiting and request throttling to prevent flooding and abuse.
- Safe, Sanitized Error Handling: In the rare event of a system fault, human-friendly error codes (e.g.
MPC-ERR-XXXXX) are generated without exposing technical database or server internals. - Administrative Access Controls & Audit Logging: Content management and moderation operations are protected by multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based authorization, security audit logging, and cryptographically verified, time-limited recovery procedures.
