What Can You Search By?

Our search index queries multiple metadata fields concurrently, allowing you to search however you find most natural:
  • Subject Title: Type the full or partial paper title, such as Database Management Systems, Programming in C, or Discrete Mathematics.
  • Paper Code: Search using syllabus classification codes printed on booklets, such as CS-204, CC-IV, GE-II, or SEC-I.
  • Course Acronym: Enter degree shorthand such as MCA, BCA, B.Sc ITM, B.Com, or M.Sc Physics.
  • Exam Year: Enter calendar years like 2024, 2023, or 2022 to see papers conducted during that session.

Refining Your Search with Dropdown Filters

On the Search Portal, you can combine text queries with powerful dropdown filters:
  • College Filter: Restrict results to your college (e.g., Maharaja Purna Chandra Autonomous College).
  • Course Filter: Select your degree programme to only show subjects taught in that syllabus.
  • Semester Filter: Filter directly to Semester 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.
  • Exam Year Filter: Pick a specific examination calendar year.
  • Exam Type Filter: Narrow down by Regular, Back / Improvement, or Mid Sem tests.
Typo Tolerance & Smart Tags
The search bar includes typo tolerance with 'Did you mean...?' suggestions. You can also tap one-click subject tags like #DBMS, #TC, #DAA, #CN, #DS, and #C to instantly run curated searches.
