How MPC Questions Works
A look under the hood at how question papers are uploaded, optimized, verified, and delivered.
We designed MPC Questions with one central priority: lightning speed and zero friction. When a student is studying in a hostel room, traveling on a morning bus, or doing last-minute revisions before an exam, they need instant access without lag, paywalls, or endless redirects.
The 4-Step Life Cycle of Every Paper
- 1. Student Submission: A student photographs their physical exam booklet and visits our 4-step Upload portal. They select their college, degree type, stream, course, semester, and enter the subject details.
- 2. Client-Side WebP Compression: Before any image leaves your smartphone or laptop, our browser engine automatically compresses it into modern WebP format at 85% quality with a maximum dimension of 1400px. This reduces an 8MB camera photo down to ~200KB without sacrificing text sharpness, saving your mobile data and enabling instant uploads.
- 3. Moderation & Verification: Submissions undergo automated checks and volunteer moderation to confirm that pages are legible, properly sequenced, free of personal student roll numbers, and mapped to the correct subject. Depending on system settings, papers are either approved instantly or verified within 12-24 hours.
- 4. Global Delivery & Indexing: Once approved, the paper is assigned a standardized title and published immediately to the live Question Bank, searchable by code, subject name, or year via the Search engine.
Permanent Crawlable URLs & Search Indexing
Every archived paper and academic category has a permanent, human-readable URL. Search engines and AI research tools index these pages directly, allowing students to discover papers via Google or Bing without navigating deep menus:
- Paper View:
/questions/:id(direct, shareable link to any specific paper) - Colleges Directory:
/colleges(directory of participating institutions) - College Hub:
/colleges/:collegeSlug(institution overview and degrees) - Course Index:
/colleges/:collegeSlug/courses/:courseSlug(complete curriculum archive for a specific degree) - Semester Archive:
/colleges/:collegeSlug/courses/:courseSlug/semester/:semester(specific semester term)
